Beverly Rosemary Teeples, formerly of Hermiston, died on March 3, 2022 in St. George, Utah at the age of 82.
She was born on Sept. 21, 1939 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Birch LeRoy and Jennie Mary Barnes Lobaugh.
She married Gerald Barth Teeples in Coltman, Idaho on June 29, 1957 and they had two children, Teri and Gerald “Scott.”
Beverly grew up in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She raised her family in Northern California, Texas and Hawaii. She later settled in Hermiston, where she lived for many years. Over the years she was an executive secretary for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Department of Energy and Department of Defense. She relocated to Mesquite, Nev. in 2014 with her husband, Donald Coleman.
She loved camping in the mountains, riding her four-wheeler, traveling in the camper, seeing new places and making friends. She enjoyed helping others and her time as a volunteer at the local hospital. She was an avid fan of the Seattle Seahawks.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Alvin Coleman of Mesquite, Nev.; daughter, Teri Delacruz (Jerry) of Carson City, Nev.; son, Gerald “Scott” (Cindy) Teeples of Hermiston; seven grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and one sister.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 18, 2022 in the Burns Mortuary Chapel, 685 W. Hermiston Ave.
Burial will follow in the Hermiston Cemetery.
