Grammy-nominated country star Billy Currington will bring his easy-going style and
upbeat energy to the Happy Canyon Arena on Saturday, Sept. 11, for the Pendleton Round-Up and Happy Canyon kick-off concert.

Tickets go on sale June 24 at 10 a.m.

The event will mark the return of the the Round-Up and Happy Canyon after it was canceled last year due to the pandemic.

Currington has scored 11 career No. 1 singles with his most recent hit, “Don’t Hurt Like It Used To.” His latest and sixth studio album bears the title “Summer Forever,” but the talented Georgia native has spent more than a decade in the spotlight proving he’s truly a man for all seasons. His other hits that have reached the No. 1 spot on the airwaves include memorable songs as “Good Directions,” “Let Me Down Easy,” “Must Be Doin’ Somethin’ Right,” “People Are Crazy,” “That’s How Country Boys Roll,” “Hey Girl,” “Pretty Good at Drinkin’ Beer,” and “We Are Tonight.” Currington won Grammy nominations for Male
Country Vocal Performance and Best Country Song for “People Are Crazy,” as well as nominations for Single and Song of the Year from the Country Music Association for the same single.

Happy Canyon President Tanner Hawkins said he believes Currington is a great choice to kick off Round-Up Week, especially after a year hiatus.

“’People Are Crazy’ if they don’t take the opportunity to snag tickets to this concert,” Hawkins said, referencing Currington’s No. 1 hit. “We know he’ll bring energy and enthusiasm to the stage and get everyone excited for what will be an amazing week in Pendleton.”

Tickets go on sale Thursday, June 24, at 10 a.m. and range in price from $46 to $150. To reserve tickets, visit the Round-Up website or call 541-612-3421.
