Blue Mountain Community College (BMCC) was tabbed as the 19th best community college in the country according to a recently released analysis conducted by WalletHub.com.

The annual ranking looks at 19 various factors in determining the value provided by each
institution including cost of attendance to the student, educational outcomes and career/employment outcomes. WalletHub evaluated some 650 community colleges in all 50 states.

“This is a testament to the commitment we see here every day at BMCC,” said Blue Mountain President Dr. J. Mark Browning. “Our faculty, staff and communities bring their very best to ensure our students are in the best position to succeed upon completion. So much of this success is directly due to an engaged and committed board of education whose tireless work to keep access affordable and our institution sustainable. They are key to building our connection to community and campus.”

Other community colleges in Oregon were named alongside BMCC in the top 20; Tillamook Bay Community College #8, Mt. Hood Community College #9 and Clackamas Community College #20. All 17 Oregon community colleges were ranked in the top 40%.
