Blue Mountain Community College (BMCC) has announced that it’s Associated Student Government team is bringing back it’s free holiday dinner for the community, to be held on Dec. 20 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Student Union of Pioneer Hall.

“Community is in our name,” says Student Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator Garrett Mickalson. “Giving back to the community is a trait that’s well valued to the College and our Associated Student Government team. This is an opportunity to provide community members with a warm meal and human connection to those who may not have other opportunities for it.”

Prior to the Pandemic, the BMCC Holiday Dinner had been a tradition for nearly 50 years, where up to 1,200 community members enjoyed a warm meal. This year, dinner guests can expect a warm meal, festive atmosphere, and an abundance of holiday cheer. The dinner is made possible by the efforts of the Associated Student Government team, private donations, and over 30 volunteers.

BMCC is located at 2411 NW Carden Ave. Dinner delivery and transportation options are available and can be arranged with Garrett Mickalson at gmickalson@bluecc.edu or 541-278-5861.
