Blue Mountain Community College students will show off their creative sides during the annual BMCC Student Art Show, April 1-22, in the Betty Feves Memorial Art Gallery in Pioneer Hall on the Pendleton campus.
An opening reception, which the public is welcome to attend, is set for April 1 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Gallery. The annual show highlights the work of art students at BMCC, and includes a variety of two-dimensional and three-dimensional pieces, including drawing, painting, sculpture and ceramics.
Awards will be given for best of show, first place, second place, third place and honorable mention. Gallery visitors can also vote for the People’s Choice Award. This year, 22 students will present 74 pieces during the art show.
