The artistic talent of BMCC employees will be on display in the Betty Feves Memorial Art Gallery beginning Jan. 7 with an opening reception.
The BMCC Faculty & Staff Art Show opening reception will run from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the gallery, located in Pioneer Hall on the Pendleton campus. The show runs through Feb. 4.
The BMCC Faculty & Staff Art Show will feature some of the talent found among BMCC employees, representing a variety of mediums and subject matter, including encaustic, painting, photography and fiber arts. Employee artists on display will include Michael Booth (art instructor), Delanne Ferguson (TRiO/Student Success professional tutor), Andrea Fowler (SBDC administrative assistant), Catharine Hojem (counselor), Jan Keough (Office of Instruction program assistant), Michelle Miller (biology and general science instructor), Kristen Oja (biology and general science instructor), Lori Sams (Feves Gallery Director), and Adam Sims (library assistant, public services).
The Betty Feves Memorial Art Gallery is celebrating its 25th year at BMCC. It is a non-profit exhibit space that serves to connect emerging and established artists and their work with BMCC students, staff, and the general public in eastern Oregon. The gallery is open Monday-Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and by appointment by calling 541-278-5952. The BMCC Pendleton campus is located at 2411 NW Carden Avenue.
