The Blue Mountain Community College Livestock Judging team placed second out of seven participating colleges at the Fresno State Contest in Fresno, Calif., over the weekend.
Lindsey Meyers was High Individual in the cattle competition, while McKayla Rookstool placed fourth in cattle and Delaney Paulus placed second in the Reasons/Questions category. Shannon Tacy placed fourth overall, while Tawnie Peeterborg placed sixth, and Mckinna Rookstool placed eighth individually.
BMCC placed just behind top winner Modesto. Other teams that competed included Reedley College, Linn-Benton Community College, College of the Sequoias, Merced College and Delta College.
