Blue Mountain Community College will hold a “Pink Out” Friday on campus and at athletic events to support National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the local Tough Enough To Wear Pink campaign.

The women’s soccer game vs Yakima Valley College at 2 p.m. Friday will “Kick for the Cure” to support the cause, while that evening’s home volleyball game vs Big Bend Community College at 6 p.m. will “Dig for the Cure.” Each team will trade their BMCC blue for pink jerseys for the games.

There will be kid’s games and face painting at both events, along with pink party beads for fans. In addition, students will sell pink Timberwolves shirts at the games and in the Student Life Office in Morrow Hall all week.

All proceeds will benefit the Pendleton Round-Up’s Tough Enough To Wear Pink campaign, which raises awareness and funds for local breast cancer patients and survivors.
