Blue Mountain Community College is holding a listening forum to hear from the public on why its recent general obligation bond failed.
The forum will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 17 at the Eastern Oregon Higher Education Center in Room 134. BMCC representatives want voters to provide feedback as to why they did not vote in favor of the bond measure that would have enabled the college to build three workforce development centers in Hermiston, Boardman and Pendleton.
Those planning to attend should RSVP at 541-567-1800. Lunch will be provided.
A second listening forum is scheduled for the Milton-Freewater BMCC campus from noon to 1 on Dec. 18. Lunch will also be provided at that forum.
