Anywhere But Here: A History of Housing Discrimination in Oregon, a display presented by the Fair Housing Council of Oregon, is now on exhibit through Oct. 24 in the Blue Mountain
Community College Library.
The goal of the exhibit is to educate the community on impediments to fair housing in Oregon. The exhibit chronicles Oregon’s largely unknown history of discrimination, segregation, and displacement, as well as the progress we’ve made in overcoming this history and the challenges that remain.
The exhibit is sponsored by the BMCC Library. The library is an advocate of scholarship, cultural awareness, the pursuit of knowledge, and student success. We enhance the community’s opportunity for intellectual discovery and lifelong learning. The BMCC Library is in Pioneer Hall and is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
