College Community Theatre’s 20th annual Summer Youth Theatre Camp is underway.

Forty-nine campers from throughout the region, ages 7 to 15, are participating in a week of rehearsals and specialty workshops with a staff of Portland theatre professionals, under the leadership of Artistic Director Adrienne Flagg.

The week will culminate in a free performance tat 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 25 in the Bob Clapp Theatre in Pioneer Hall on the Blue Mountain Community College Pendleton campus. The public is invited to attend this event and witness the creativity and dedication of the enthusiastic young performers.

The CCT Summer Youth Theatre Camp is a partnership between College Community Theatre, Blue Mountain Community College, and JANE, a theater company. It is partially funded by a generous grant from the Umatilla County Cultural Coalition and co-sponsored by donations from Breiling & Van Kirk, Attorneys at Law, and Don and Carole Guenther.
