Blue Mountain Community College will host 10 colleges and universities from around the Northwest on Tuesday, Jan. 15, for the annual Oregon Transfer Days event.

The event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Pioneer Hall, provides community college students interested in eventually transferring to another school the opportunity to learn more about the transfer process and transfer schools.

This is the 12th year that a coalition of Oregon’s 17 community colleges and four-year colleges and universities from around the state have come together to help community college students learn about the transfer process and options. Information will be available on financial aid, registration, classes, scheduling, program options, majors, and how to select a transfer school.

Participating schools and programs at BMCC’s Oregon Transfer Days event will include Eastern Oregon University, the Oregon Institute of Technology, Oregon State University, the Oregon Office of Student Access & Completion (OSAC), OSU – Cascades, Pacific Northwest College of Art, Pacific University, Portland State University, University of Idaho, and the University of Oregon.

Immediately following the event, BMCC’s Veterans Resource Center in Morrow Hall will host a meet and greet with the participating schools, faculty, staff and student veterans. This meet and greet will allow veteran students to connect with representatives from the colleges and universities to learn more about services specific to veteran students.
