The Boardman Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a Business Education Training seminar on Thursday, Jan. 24 at the Riverfront Center, 2 Marine Drive. The seminar runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Paul Hutter of HR Answers will be the guest speaker. Topics include pay equity, paid leave, the 55-hour rule (overtime), and recruitment and retention strategies. Registration fees are $300 for full day and $150 for half day. Businesses with fewer than 10 employees receive special rates of $150 for full day and $75 for half day. Lunch will be available for an additional $15 per person.
