The Boardman City Council declared surplus real property of approximately 307 acres located on Tower Road for future development.
The council also heard from a Windy River Elementary student about ways the school has participated in Red Ribbon Week, and the upcoming World Kindness Day on Nov. 13.
The next Boardman City Council meeting will be Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. at the Boardman City Hall Council Chambers.
