Boardman Mayor Sandy Toms is asking the community to remember families in need in this hard time by donating to the local food bank.
Organized by the First Baptist Church of Boardman and Columbia River Health Clinic, the food bank is in need of more canned goods, dry goods and sauces to make meals. Monetary contributions are also welcome.
Call the church at 541-481-9437 to arrange for drop-off or pickup of donated food or money. Also, those who need help with food can call Mayor Toms at 541-815-5345.
I’ll check around in the RV park and see if anyone has anything to donate.
