The Boardman Pool and Recreation Center will host the first annual Heart & Stroke Hoops for Heart basketball clinic benefit on Saturday, Aug. 26 from noon to 2 p.m.
The clinic is for boys and girls ages 7-18 and is presented by the American Heart Association and MadSkills Sports & Fitness Academy in Kennewick, Wash. Trainers will cover the skills of shooting, dribbling, scoring and speed.
The cost is a $15 donation per participant. Call 509-203-5771 to register – and bring your own basketball.
