In honor of Fire Prevention Week, the Boardman Rural Fire Protection District will host a free open house this Saturday, Oct. 12 at 300 S.W. Wilson Lane. The family-friendly event goes from noon to 3 p.m.
There will be fire truck tours, free prize raffles, free information on fire safety and prevention, blood pressure checks, car seat installation checks, volunteer information and applications, refreshments and more.
