The city of Boardman is encouraging residents to safely dispose of any household hazardous waste during a free event in September.
From 8 to 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 2, Boardman residents can turn in any household hazardous waste they may have. Look for labels marked “Warning” or “Danger.”
Items can be dropped off at the North End Transfer Station, 69900 Frontage Road in Boardman.
Items not accepted include empty containers, ammunition, explosives, biological waste and radioactive waste.
