The first annual Boardman Halloween Festival is set for this Friday and Saturday, Oct. 28-29 at Boardman Marina Park.
There will be a “family-friendly, yet fantastically chilling” self-guided Nightmare Haunt (with admission charge). It’s recommended for ages 13 and up.
Free activities include a doggie costume contest, youth costume contest, Mad Scientists Kids’ Corner, and admission to the Harvest Market, featuring handmade crafts and goodies from local artisans. For more information, go to the city’s website or call Hannah Keister at 541-571-0434.
