He was born Jan. 13, 1992 at Los Angeles to Fernando Javier & Guadalupe (Banuelos) Castaneda Sr.
He was raised in Los Angeles until age 10 when the family moved to Boardman. Fernando graduated from Riverside High School in Boardman in 2010. He worked at Con-Agra Foods for two years. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Boardman. Fernando enjoyed fishing, shooting, and sports including wrestling, football, track & soccer.
He is survived by parents, Fernando Sr. & Guadalupe Castaneda of Boardman, OR; Grandmothers, Delia Avalos of Mexico and Alicia Salazar of California; Sisters, Janet & Judit Castaneda both of Boardman, OR.
Mass of Christian Burial was on Monday, September 7, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Boardman. Burial followed at the Riverside Cemetery in Boardman.
