Bonnie Louise Chambers Baggerly of Echo passed away on Feb. 15, 2023 in Hermiston surrounded by family at the age of 91.

Bonnie was born in Baker City to Jessie and Howard Chambers on May 19, 1931.

She graduated from Baker High School. She married Richard L. Baggerly on June 11, 1950 in Baker City. Mama was an amazing woman who gave of herself to bless others with joy. True to the nature that God has given her, sparkling with inner radiance and generosity. One with spirit of faith, a heart of kindness and a character of strength and beauty. Her famous hugs and kisses that we all came to know; her arms and home knew no stranger. Her compassion and faith were met with love and kindness, and it showed in the many lives that she touched; she was a woman of God and family. May the passion she had for her family grow in all of us as she taught us there is always enough love for everyone. We have all been blessed to know and feel her love.

Bonnie is survived by her loving husband of 73 years, Richard. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Donna Bowman, Pati Wynn, Barbra DuBois, Jim Baggerly, Kathy Reed, Carol DuVall, Mary Round, Denise Williams and the many others that she loved and called her Mom. Her ever-adoring grandkids (27), great grandkids (52), great-great grandkids (13), and all the others that called her Grandma Bonnie. The many nieces and nephews that she loved just as her own.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Howard Chambers; her sister, Bea Bottger; and granddaughter, Shae Baggerly.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Angeles Catholic Church, Hermiston.
