Brad Scott Pieper died on March 20, 2018 at his home in Hermiston at the age of 63.
He was born on July 14, 1954 in Crescent City, Calif. to Cliff and Rose Pieper.
Brad grew up near Terreton, Idaho and started his family in Polson, Mont. He moved to Hermiston in the mid-1990s, where he had resided for the past 25 years. He was a true entrepreneur, creating his own businesses, and he also worked as the general manager for Tri State Manufactured homes for several years. He also owned and operated Irrigon Market, along with a successful catering business at the Umatilla Army Depot for many years.
Brad grew up on a ranch, where he shared his love of working with animals. He loved cooking for people, community events, and throwing parties for family and friends. He was kind hearted, generous, and always willing to help people who were less fortunate.
He is survived by three sons, Dustin, Brian and Ben Pieper; daughter, Emily Pieper; father, Cliff Pieper; brother, Steve Pieper; sister, Eva Pieper; and close family friends, Roberto Sanchez, Ron, Brenda and Ronnie Aliangan.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Pieper.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Burns Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in Hermiston Cemetery.
