Pacific Northwest Veterans’ Alliance is presenting the Grooving for a Cause fund-raising event this Saturday, Jan. 20 to support local veterans and their families in times of need.
The all-age event will be in the Quality Inn banquet room, 705 Willamette St. in Umatilla; it goes from 5 to 9 p.m. Social hour is 5-6 p.m., followed by a catered dinner and drinks. Brass Fire Band, most of whose members are music educators, will be playing live and will answer any questions about the instruments or school music programs.
