It turns out, Santa is something of a draw.
The Hermiston Parks and Recreation Center, with the help of dozens of volunteers, sold out its tickets for Saturday’s Breakfast with Santa.
All 150 tickets were sold for the event held at the Hermiston Conference Center. Children were treated to pancakes and sausage, craft activities, a holiday story and photos with Santa.
Volunteers including those from the Hermiston Kiwanis Club, the Key Club and the Hermiston Chamber of Commerce helped serve breakfast and more throughout the morning. Former Hermiston Fire Chief Pat Hart served as the official photographer for the day.
