Brian D. Gray died on June 29, 2020 at his home in Hermiston at the age of 70.
He was born on Aug. 3, 1949 in Spokane, Wash. to Darrell and Betty Williams Gray.
Brian was raised in Brainerd, Minn. and St. Paul Park, Minn., where he graduated high school. He then served in the United States Air Force as a sergeant until his honorable discharge in 1971. Brian lived in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. for a time before moving to Hermiston. He was united in marriage to Beverly Wellington on Jan. 8, 1988 in Boardman. They lived in Boise, Idaho and Minnesota before returning to Hermiston in 2011, where they have lived since.
Brian had worked various jobs over the years, including bar tender and golf course greenskeeper. He enjoyed playing golf, sports, art and refereeing volleyball.
He is survived by his wife, Bev Gray, Hermiston; daughters, Yvette Monahan and husband Dan, and Tomara Maddox and husband Casey, all of Hermiston; mother, Betty Gray, Baxter, Minn.; siblings, Greg, Bradley and Loralyn; grandchildren, Lexi, Ashley, Zach, Landon and Damon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Brian was preceded in death by his father.
A private family gathering will be held.
