After dropping their first seven games of the season, the Hermiston Bulldogs ended the year with a three-game win streak after topping the Ridgeline Falcons at home on Friday, 44-7.

The Bulldogs (2-6 in league play, 3-7 overall) jumped out to a 10-0 lead after the first quarter and took a 23-0 advantage into halftime.

After struggling much of the season, the Hermiston offense found its groove over the past few weeks. The Bulldogs scored 129 points during the three-game win streak compared to just 64 in the first seven games.

Senior quarterback Chase Elliott threw three touchdown passes, completing 17 passes on 26 attempts for 183 yards. He also caught a 15-yard touchdown pass from sophomore quarterback Landon Shilhanek.

Sophomore Ben Larson led all Hermiston rushers with 72 yards on the ground.
