Tonight’s 5A playoff game between the 8-1 Hermiston Bulldogs and the 4-4 Sandy Pioneers will be a rematch between two teams that met a little less than a month ago.

Back on Oct. 10, the Bulldogs traveled to Sandy and had their way with them, chalking up a 56-17 road win. Hermiston scored 10 seconds into the game and held a 49-3 halftime lead.

Hermiston will enter tonight’s game on a serious roll. The Bulldogs, ranked No. 3 among 5A teams in the state, according to the OregonLive poll, have scored 249 points in their last four game while holding their opponents to just 44 points.

Tonight’s game at Kennison Field is set to kick off at 7 p.m.
