When the Hermiston Bulldogs travel to Hood River on Friday to take on the 2-5 Eagles, they’ll do so as the No. 3 ranked 5A team in the state of Oregon.
Hermiston is coming off a dominating 75-6 win over The Dalles last week. Hermiston received 178 votes to move up one spot this week from No. 4 to No. 3
Both Hermiston and Springfield rose a spot in the rankings with Springfield going from No. 3 to No. 2. Silverton remains the top-ranked 5A team in the state. Ashland fell from No. 2 to No. 6 after losing to Springfield, 37-26, last Friday.
Other teams in the top 10 this week are Mountain View at No. 4, Hillsboro at No. 5, Liberty at No. 7, Central at No. 8, Wilsonville at No. 9 and Summit at No. 10.
