Bulldogs Win Third-Straight Game with 48-26 Win Over Ridgeview

The Hermiston Bulldogs used a strong third quarter to turn back Ridgeview Friday night and chalk up their third-straight victory.

The Bulldogs’ 48-26 road win improved their record to 4-2 on the season. Junior quarterback Andrew James led the way both on the ground and in the air. James passed for 214 yards and completed 12-of-15 passes with three touchdown passes. He also ran for a score while churning out 100 yards rushing.

The Bulldogs scored in the first quarter on a touchdown pass from James to Dayshawn Neal and took a 14-6 lead into halftime.

Hermiston scored three times in the third quarter to take a 35-14 lead into the final frame. Jonathan Hinkle led the Bulldogs with 105 yards rushing and a pair of scores. Neal caught 9 passes for 97 yards on the night.

Hermiston returns home on Friday in a matchup against the 5-1 Bend Lava Bears who held off Summit Friday night, 35-29. Hermiston beat Summit, 34-14, in Bend on Sept. 22.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
