Hermiston residents interested in running for mayor or municipal court judge file for the May 21, 2024 election.
An election for Hermiston mayor and municipal court judge will be held on May 21, 2024.
The mayor’s four-year term will run from Jan. 1, 2025 to Dec. 31, 2028.
The two-year term for municipal court judge runs from Jan. 1, 2025 to Dec. 31, 2026.
Candidates must file for office by submitting their completed declaration of candidacy to the Elections Officer/City Recorder no later than 5 p.m., on March 12, 2024. Forms are available in the administrative office at City Hall, 180 N.E. Second St.
