Carole Janette Hamilton of Hermiston died on Sept. 7, 2018 in Richland, Wash. at the age of 79.
She was born on Feb. 28, 1939 in La Grande.
Carole had owned and operated Carole’s Carousel in the mall and later the Buttercreek Salon. Although life gave her hardships, she was blessed beyond measure. Carole enjoyed her bunko crew, flowers, playing golf and traveling the world.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet Pedersen Sharp; grandchildren, Jeff Gilbertson and Kelsey Gilbertson; great grandson, Camron Gilbertson; and a sister, Lois Devore.
Carole was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Pedersen; son, Greg Pedersen; and her parents.
A celebration of life gathering was held.
