A benefit dinner for CASA will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 28 at the Sundown Grill and Bar-B-Q in Pendleton.
CASA or Court-Appointed Special Advocates are trained volunteers who advocate for safe, permanent homes for children in foster care in Umatilla and Morrow counties.
Tickets for the dinner are $20. The menu will include barbecue ribs, salad and bread. Local band Front Porch will perform at the dinner and a raffle drawing will be held.
Tickets are available at the Umatilla-Morrow Head Start office, 110 N.E. Fourth St., in Hermiston or at the Sundown Grill and Bar-B-Q, 233 S.E. Fourth St., in Pendleton.
