The annual Pendleton Cattle Barons Weekend is set for Thursday through Saturday, May 2-4 at the Pendleton Round-Up pavilion, Happy Canyon arena, and Pendleton Convention Center.
The mission of the Pendleton Cattle Barons organization is threefold: to showcase and honor the area’s ranching heritage; to design an event that attracts guests to enjoy Pendleton; and, most importantly, to generate scholarships for regional students attending college and majoring in agriculture. One hundred percent of proceeds go to scholarship creation.
Every year, over 3,000 people attend the three-day event that includes stock saddle bronc riding, Western Select invitational horse and working dog sale, Tradin’ Post trade show, gear show and sale, Buckaroo Barbeque Challenge, Ranch Rodeo, fun family events, and much more.
