The Hermiston Chamber of Commerce will host a free Veterans Day breakfast and celebration on Friday, Nov. 9 at the Hermiston Community Center, 415 S. Highway 395.
The event begins at 8 a.m. and is for all veterans, service men and women, and their families. There will be a presentation by the American Legion and VFW Honor Guard, Dance Unlimited Troup, the Hermiston High School Choir, and guest speakers.
The chamber is seeking pictures of local veterans in uniform for a slide show. Anyone who has not previously submitted a photo is encouraged to email one to kelly@hermistonchamber.com or drop it by the chamber office at 1055 S. Highway 395, Suite 111 in Hermiston. Submissions must be received by Nov. 5.
