Charles Edward Cook, a longtime resident of Hermiston, died Nov. 13, 2015, at age 79.
He was born Nov. 19, 1935, in Welch, W.V., and arrived in Hermiston in the late 1950s after finishing his Air Force service in Moses Lake, Wash. Known as “Chuck” or “Charlie” to family and friends, he worked for Union Pacific Railroad for more than 38 years.
He is survived by his daughters, Tammy Cournoyer and Terry Aguilar, both of San Antonio, Texas; and preceded in death by his parents, Emory and Pearl Cook; and brother, David.
In accordance with his wishes, no funeral service will be held. A private family burial will take place at Hermiston Cemetery.
