The Hermiston School District Chess Club will host an open house on Friday, April 1 at the Hermiston High School library.
The event is from 4 to 6 p.m. The public is invited to stop by and play a game or two with middle and high school chess club members. There will also be an area where chess lessons are given, and pizza and beverages will be provided.
