Charles F. “Chuck” Beach of Hermiston died on Aug. 7, 2018 in Hermiston at the age of 79.
He was born on June 8, 1939 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Chuck served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge. He was united in marriage to Frieda DeFries on Feb. 14, 1966 in San Diego, Calif. He worked as a carman and later as a foreman for the Union Pacific Railroad until he retired. He enjoyed CBs and motorcycles.
He is survived by his wife, Frieda Beach, Hermiston; son, Shawn Beach, Spokane, Wash.; stepsons, James Russell, New Mexico and Gerald Russell, Keizer; sister, Helen Vermillion; and three grandchildren.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, David Beach.
