Charles (Chuck) William White, of Kennewick, WA, passed away in Hood River on Sunday, July 19, 2015.
Charles was born March 24, 1936 to Charles & Sophie White in Olean, N.Y. Chuck was second of five children, three sisters, Molly, Mary, Sally and brother, Bob. Chuck lived in New York until age 19. Afterward he moved to the Pacific Northwest. In 1971 he moved from Wapato, Wash., to Hermiston after accepting a position as a district manager with Farmers Insurance. He held this position until retiring in 2005. During his career with Farmers he earned several achievement awards. He was an active member of the Elks Lodge in Hermiston and the Eagles in Kennewick. He enjoyed golf and cars. He was a member of Our Lady of Angels Catholic church.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara. He is also survived by his children, Vickie, Carmil and Tony; grandchildren Rachel, Alex, Ethan, Ben, Tyler, Katie, Amy; and five great-granddaughters. He was preceded by sisters, Molly, Mary & Sally; and grandchild, Kevin.
Services are planned for 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015 at Burns Mortuary, 685 W Hermiston Ave, Hermiston, with a dinner to follow at the Hermiston Elks Lodge.
