The Hermiston Parks and Recreation Department has announced the seasonal closing of outdoor shelters and park restrooms on Monday, Oct. 31.
Shelters and restrooms are closed during winter months to avoid freezing pipes and for general maintenance. They will re-open April 1, 2017.
Shelter reservations for the new year will be accepted at the Parks and Recreation office after Jan. 1, 2017.
