The city of Boardman is preparing to spruce up around town during a communitywide cleanup day on April 22, 9 a.m. to noon.
In addition to cleaning up around town, the event will feature tree planting. Those interested in volunteering for the cleanup project can email Brandon Hammond at hammondb@cityofboardman.com. And those wanting to help with planting trees should email George Shimer at georges@boardmanparkandrec.com.
Also, residents of Boardman can obtain garbage vouchers, which are good through May 31 at Finley Butte Landfill and the North Morrow Transfer Station. Residents may pick up their vouchers at Boardman City Hall, 200 City Center Circle. For questions, call 541-481-9252.
