Looking for a family-friendly way to celebrate our nation’s independence? Gather your clan and head to the Hermiston Family Aquatic Center on July 4 for the Stars and Stripes Pool Party Barbeque. The party is from 7 to 10:30 p.m., with fireworks starting at 10.
Tickets for this annual event are limited, so buy them early at the aquatic center. They’ll be on sale until July 3 or until they’re gone. The cost is $10 for 2 through 14 years and $16 for 15 years and older. Admission is free for kids under 2.
There will be live music, games and swimming, and you’ll have the best view of the fireworks in all of Hermiston. Dinner will be catered by Dickey’s Barbeque in Pendleton.
