Want to make a difference in your community? The city of Hermiston has several openings on committees and is looking for applicants before the April 6 deadline.
The city has three openings on the Hermiston Planning Commission, three openings on its Budget Committee, two openings on the Recreation Project Funds Advisory Committee, one opening on the Hispanic Advisory Committee, and one opening on its Eastern Oregon Trade and Event Center committee.
Interested persons are asked to submit an application to City Hall, 180 N.E. Second St. Application forms are available at City Hall.
Preference for appointees shall be given to city residents.
Proposed appointment and confirmation of these positions will be made in May 2015. The city council confirms all committee appointments.
