The city of Hermiston is accepting project proposals for a Transient Room Tax grant.
Projects must be dedicated for recreation for the 2014-2015 fiscal year. A portion of the revenue collected from the transient room tax is mandated to be spent on recreation programs and projects that take place inside the city limits of Hermsiton.
Applications must be submitted to the Hermiston Parks and Recreation Department no later than 4 p.m. on Friday, June 5. Applications can be found online.
