The Tri-Cities has a couple of long-standing events on tap this week, June 20-23, for classic car, street rod and motorcycle enthusiasts. Admission is free.
Richland’s Cool Desert Nights event is in its 26th year and takes place Friday through Sunday at the Uptown Shopping Center, 1341 George Washington Way. It features car cruises, street dances, show ‘n’ shines, games and activities, pancake breakfast, kids’ zone, judging, awards, autocross and more. To learn more, visit the event website.
The Hogs & Dogs Regional Family Festival fund-raising event, started in 2001, happens on Thursday, 4-10 p.m. at West Richland’s Bombing Range Sports Complex, 3200 Bombing Range Road. To learn more and purchase raffle tickets for a vintage Harley Davidson motorcycle, go to Hogs & Dogs website.
