Claude Forrest Jacobs, formerly of Irrigon, passed away in Richland, Wash. on July 13, 2023 at the age of 65.
He was born on March 21, 1958 to Carroll and Ruth Jacobs in Sigourney, Iowa.
Claude was a long/short haul truck driver, as well as an avid mini-farmer.
He is survived by his daughters, Shannon (Troy) Johnson and Lacey (Jeff) Davis; son, Brandon (Emily) Jacobs; 11 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three brothers; and three sisters.
He was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Jacobs.
A celebration of life potluck will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2023 at the Irrigon Marina Park, 510 N.E. Seventh St.
A private family burial was in the Desert Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Irrigon.
Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in care of arrangements.
