Claudia Aline Camara of Hermiston passed away on Nov. 13, 2020 in Hermiston at the age of 22.
She was born on Feb. 2, 1998 in Modesto, Calif. to Brandon and Candace James Camara.
Claudia lived in Modesto throughout her childhood, where she attended school and graduated from Big Valley Grace High School in Modesto, Calif. After high school she moved to Hermiston, where she had resided for the past three years.
Claudia was a talented artist who enjoyed drawing. She was a loving and selfless person who enjoyed caring for her niece and nephew, Addyson and Aaron. She had a love for animals, collecting rocks, growing plants (especially cactuses) and going to thrift stores in search of new treasures. She loved spending her time surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her mother, Candace (Alex) Honcell; brother, Brandon Camara; sisters, Allison Camara and Erika Camara; maternal grandparents, Patrick and Janice James; paternal grandfather, Mark Camara; paternal grandparents, Nathan and Katherine Honcell; aunt, Heather (Jeff) Ekstrom; uncle, Sean (Shelly) James; and many extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her father, Brandon Camara.
A private family celebration of life will be held.
