A cold front will move into the area today and tonight bringing temperatures down below the freezing level and a chance of snow.
The National Weather Service is reporting snow levels will lower to 500-1,000 feet in the Columbia Basin in Washington and 1,000-1,500 feet in the northern parts of Oregon. There is a slight chance of rain tonight before 10 p.m., and a chance of snow later in the evening.
Precipitation will diminish rapidly on Tuesday and temperatures will be moderate the rest of the week until the weekend when there’s a chance of colder temperatures and more snow.
The high today and Tuesday is expected to be around 41 with overnight lows of around 30. Temperatures will reach into the 50s by the end of the week before the colder weather moves in during the weekend.
