Cancer patients, survivors and family members are invited to help commission the walls of the treatment room in the new Eastern Oregon Cancer Center at Pendleton this Saturday, Sept. 7 from 12 to 3 p.m.
The “Written in Stone” event, hosted by The Eastern Oregon Cancer Network, is an opportunity to embed messages of hope, healing and encouragement in the very foundation of the new center.
The commissioning ceremony is at 2 p.m. The cancer center is located at 1701 S.W. 24th St. For more information, visit the center’s website.
