The Good Shepherd Community Health Foundation is hosting a seminar on planned giving on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at Good Shepherd, 610 N.W. 11th St.
The seminar will go from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in Conference Rooms CC1 and CC2.
Hermiston attorney Cameron Bendixen will talk about legal considerations in giving including safety, elder abuse and estate planning.
Dennis Barnett of Barnett & Moro, P.C. in Hermiston will speak about how to maximize impact with a focus on exploring tax-smart charitable giving for community improvement.
James Hurts of the Legacy Creation Network will talk navigating family changes and scam risks in estate planning.
