Concepcion Salas Garcia died Sunday, June 21, 2015 in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho at the age of 56.
She was born Sept. 15, 1958 at Santiago Ixcuintla, Nayarit, Mexico to Pedro Avila and Margarita Garcia. She was raised in Mexico. She married Eduardo Salas Sr. in Durango, Mexico. They moved to Irrigon in 1994. Concepcion was a member of Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Hermiston and she loved her flower garden.
She is survived by her husband, Eduardo Salas Sr. of Irrigon; mother, Margarita Garcia of Mexico; sons, Eduardo Salas Jr. of Irrigon, Edgar Salas of Irrigon, and Ismael Salas of San Antonio; daughter, Marisol Salas of Boardman; sisters, Rosa Avila of Mexico, Elena Avila of Hermiston, Isabel Avila of Hermiston, and Idalia Avila of Long Beach, Calif.; brothers, Primo Avila of Mexico, Pedro Avila of Hermiston, and Raul Avila of Mexico; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Pedro Avila; son, Richard Salas; and sister, Teresa Avila.
